Finding Balance While Working From Home

Just over a year ago, I left my high-stress office job to work from home full time as a Medical Coder, and that change was life-changing. Removing daily stress and doing work I genuinely enjoy completely shifted my mindset. My work-life balance improved, I had more energy, and I felt happier overall.

How Movement Changed My Daily Routine

With more flexibility in my schedule, I naturally became more active again. I often use my lunch break to walk on my treadmill, stretch, or lift weights. Even 20–30 minutes of movement makes a noticeable difference in my mood, focus, and productivity for the rest of the day.

Simple Ways to Stay Active at Home

I encourage everyone, especially those who work from home to move a little every day. If possible, add a walking pad at your desk or create a small space at home or in the office for simple, versatile equipment. Small changes like these can have a big impact. Here are some of my favorites!

Turns out, I love working out with resistance bands, and these the best! I didn’t think I would use these wrist weights as much as I do, but I really like incorporating them into my daily routine. And yes, I jumped on the vibration plate trend, I see what the hype is about!

I don’t know when exactly it happened, but there is just something about a coordinated bag that makes me feel like my life is really together. This gym bag is the perfect size and I use all of the contents every time I work out. Am I the only one that CANNOT work out with rings on? This keychain holder is the perfect solution.
